Privacy
This is what CoreAudioLink keeps when you use a Links account with Links Studio, Links MixDeck and their websites, and why. We keep as little as we can, and we never sell it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your name if you give one, and your password as a one-way hash (we can't read it back).
- Google sign-in: if you use it, we receive your name, your confirmed email address and an id for your Google account, nothing else. We never see your Google password.
- Your computers: a code made from each computer's id and the computer's name, so licences work on the right computers and you can see and remove them.
- Your licences: which licences you have, when they started and when they end.
- Links Cloud (only if you use it): the music files you send up and your MixDeck library data (cues, crates, analysis, history, settings, layouts). They're private to your account.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We keep a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription, never your card details.
- Security: failed sign-ins and password reset requests for a short time, to stop people guessing passwords.
What we use it for
Only to run your account: signing you in, your licences and computers, Links Cloud, password reset emails, and answering you when you ask for help. We don't use it for advertising and we don't share it, except with the services that run it for us (Cloudflare hosts the account server and Links Cloud; Stripe takes payments; Google's email service sends reset emails).
The websites
The sites don't use tracking or advertising cookies. When you sign in, the account page keeps your sign-in in your browser's storage on that site until you sign out.
Your choices
- See your details, licences and computers on your Account page, and remove computers there.
- Ask us to delete your account and everything with it (Links Cloud included) at any time: email help@coreaudiolink.com.
